In the “Mind Your Language” comedy of the 70s, we learn that to the French, there is nothing better than love. Hence the saying that Paris is the most romantic city in the world. And it is.

Ok, love and sex away, although you will still find a lot of that, there are many attractions in Paris, and one trip there will not exhaust everything. You will need to go back again! Paris is expensive though, and that is only sensible. If you had the only store in town and everyone comes there, then the sensible thing would be to increase the price, no

Eiffel Tower is a landmark in Europe, the most famous monument present. It is very beautiful, the tallest in Paris. Its height makes it possible for you to see the whole city. Take an elevator and get the best view ever. It attracts millions of tourists annually.

Musee du Louvre is another attraction site that is a must-visit. It is the largest museum, making it a central landmark in Europe. Here, you can learn some history in the most artistic way possible. It holds very famous valuables and original art pieces. Pay a visit to view the Da Vinci’s Monalisa piece.

Thank God for the French, there is no crap about height. Did you know that former President Nicholas Sarkozy was short, say like 5 ft 7, but he still managed to bag himself a model, Carla Bruni. And I also hear that Napoleon Bonarparte was not a tall man himself, also 5 ft 7. You know what – the Arc De Triomphe also called Victory arch was built as a commemoration of the Napoleon victory. It has engraved on it the names of the generals who commanded the French troops. This was done during the regime of Napoleon. Come to Africa and you will find spirits named after Napoleon and that is when you know that height doesn’t matter.

Notre Dame Cathedral was the first Gothic cathedral to be built. Its construction started in the 12th century. Its architectural grandeur is more breathtaking in physical view than how it appears in the photographs. In the interior, its intricacies are stained glass, paint, and the massive 8,000-pipe church organ among other things, that will offer you a chance to taste the rich history of the French culture and heritage.

Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris. It was constructed in 1755 and occupies an area of 86,400 meters. It is a monument with a fountain that draws millions of tourists. During ancient times, it was used for criminal execution purposes. The name was altered several times before settling on the Place de la Concorde and was used and it is still viewed as a reconciliation symbol.

For nature lovers, River Seine is a must-view. It offers a spectacular site to view numerous landmarks and sights in Paris.
